About
Dr. Killian joined Tennova Medical Group as an experienced interventional cardiologist. He received his medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, completed his internal medicine residency at UAB and completed fellowships in cardiology at Vanderbilt Medical Center, Nashville, TN, and cardiac electrophysiology at Indiana University’s Krannert Institute of Cardiology. Dr. Killian is board certified in cardiovascular disease, clinical cardiac electrophysiology and internal medicine. Dr. Killian is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He served in the US Navy as a medical officer in Bremerton, Washington, and San Diego, California. The Puget Sound Naval Family Practice Residency Program and the Naval Medical Center at San Diego Cardiology Fellowship Program named him Teacher of the Year.
Dr. Killian performs interventional cardiology procedures such as cardiac catheterization, angioplasty and stent placement in Tennova Healthcare – Clarksville’s digital cardiac cath lab. In addition, he is very experienced in all types of cardiac device placement such as Permanent Pacemakers, AICDs, and Biventricular Pacemakers/AICDs. In his office, he sees patients for general cardiology visits, specialty consultations and cardiac surgical clearance
