About
Craig Ennis, board-certified gastroenterologist, joined the staff in 2016. He received his medical degree from the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Ennis also completed his residency and fellowship at the University of California, San Diego. Prior to joining Tennova, Dr. Ennis was in a private practice group for twenty-one years in Orange County, CA (pop. 3.1 million), where he was voted a Top Doctor for gastroenterology in the county five times. He served as chief of medicine at St. Joseph’s Hospital (400 beds) and was a member of the leadership corps for 15 years. Dr. Ennis is experienced in treating hepatitis, inflammatory bowel disease, celiac disease as well as common digestive diseases. He participated in over 400 clinical trials in Orange County. Joined by his wife and two sons, he has chosen to settle and eventually retire in Middle Tennessee where he plans to continue enjoying hiking, fishing and music.
