Joshua McDaniel, PA-C, MPAS, is a certified physician assistant serving the patients of Tennova Vascular Surgery. He received bachelor's degrees in both clinical nutrition and dietetics from East NT State University in Johnson City, Tennessee, and physician assistant studies from the University of Nebraska in Omaha, Nebraska. Joshua also received his master’s degree in physician assistant studies from the University of Nebraska in Omaha.
A military veteran, Joshua worked as an Army physician assistant both at Fort Campbell, KY, and in Voru, Estonia. He provided primary care, urgent care and austere medicine while deployed in Estonia. At Fort Campbell, Joshua managed urgent, primary and aeromedical care for over 800 military personnel. He received several commendations from the Army before his retirement in 2024.
Josh is working directly with Dr. Alan Werner at Tennova Vascular Surgery and will assist with patients before, during and after their procedures. He is certified by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants.
